A tutor’s purpose in a student’s education differs from the role of a teacher. Many of the brightest students find they have patches in their learning because classroom teaching can’t do a perfect job of fitting each student’s interests, learning style or pace. Equally, sometimes there are areas that are not covered in a student’s school, such as a language they would like to learn, or adequate preparation for entrance exams they will need to sit.

The role of a tutor is to listen to their student and facilitate learning one-on-one in a personal, encouraging and non-judgemental way. It is an enjoyable, rewarding and flexible profession that does not require Qualified Teacher Status, but instead benefits from those who combine broad and interesting backgrounds with a natural aptitude for teaching and listening.

Holland Park is always looking for bright and dynamic tutors, and we offer some of the most competitive rates in Dubai.

We welcome applications from tutors looking to work anywhere from a couple of hours a week to full-time, however we discourage applications from anyone seeking temporary work while job-hunting as this is not appropriate for the commitment and focus most students require.

To apply, please email with your CV, and you will be invited to a one to one interview with a member of our team.
